“Simple Sundays” Design Project
When I set out to create this blog, one of my central ambitions was to produce a weekly game design to be hosted on it. I was inspired by the example of numerous student and indie game developers, among them Scott Jon Siegel, who writes the Game Design Fridays editorial for the Escapist. His are written on Friday (though not every week), and mine on Sundays, so Simple Sundays it has become.
The rules I have set myself for this endeavor are simple:
- The entire description and ruleset must fit on one page (more or less).
- No extravagant or custom objects, including cards, tokens, boards, or other devices.
- Try to be original; keep it simple.
